These pieces are as close to the real thing as possible, and the design work, glaze development, and production is carried out in Walsall in the UK. More About The Pieces Available
Penkridge Ceramics know that attention to detail is crucial, and each and every piece is individually considered because of this. Several layers of glaze add both colour and texture to the pieces, and this helps to create a super real, accurate finish on completion. The exotic fruits collection is one of the most popular collections available from the designers. 
To compliment the Apples & Pears Collections, a range of other Orchard fruits as well as some of the more exotic varieties are available for purchase. This is an ongoing project for Penkridge Ceramics, just like all the other collections. The right colour and texture must be ensured before they are added to the appropriate collection. Fruits like lemons, plums, and apricots are available, all with metal twigs and leaves to complete the look.

All glaze is devised in the studio too. Nine different varieties of apple and multiple types of other fruit on top of this ensure that you can collect to your heart’s desire.

Penkridge Ceramics’ success lies in the creation of the ‘real thing’ when it comes to ceramic fruits, exotic fruits, vegetables and horsechestnuts. This stand- alone collection, established in 1984 by MA Ceramics graduates, Lorraine Taylor and Nicky Smart, is now considered the best in it’s field. All design work, glaze development and production is carried out in the studio in Walsall, in the West Midlands, U.K.
Some stock is held to purchase, but in general stock is made to order. A full price list can be emailed for those who require one. Payment is accepted via cheque, credit/debit card, and Paypal.
